The Cutera LimeLight delivers a non-invasive light treatment that can be customized for different skin tones and ageing skin conditions. The result is an exceptionally effective skin revitalization treatment with minimal discomfort.
The LimeLight Facial is a new, non-invasive approach to skin revitalization using Cutera’s LimeLight. The procedure offers the advantage of improving skin tone and surface imperfections associated with ageing and photodamage.
This treatment is designed for patients looking to address hyperpigmentation from age spots, sun damage, superficial vessels, rosacea and photo damage. Lumecca contains breakthrough technology which makes it the most powerful IPL (intense pulsed light) to treat pigment and vascular lesions on the market. Due to this technology, complete photorejuvenation can be achieved in less sessions than any other IPL device. Your skin tone and texture will be evened out and your overall complexion will be improved.
*please note IPL can only be done on Fitzpatrick skin types I-IV
NOTE: If you are considering this treatment, avoid direct sun exposure 1 month prior to treatment. Please see pre treatment instructions.
What to Expect
- During the treatment you will be required to wear protective eyewear provided by the clinic as there will be bright flashes of light.
- When the pulse of light is delivered, patients will experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. Gel is recommended to cool the skin before vascular treatments. Anaesthesia or pain medicine is typically not required.
- You will feel a light elastic band-like sensation. Slight redness and warming of the skin is normal post treatment and will subside within an hour. Lumecca contains a built-in cooling system to maximize comfort.
- Over the next couple days you will notice a darkening of the pigmented lesions; which will dry and flake off.
